The industry in which Eco food is situated gives it the advantage the customer segmentation can be very big, it can begin from young school students to old retired customers. It is important to know the way customers behave toward their food orientation and how they think now days about the healthy society that is coming now days, It is also important to know the economic power of customers and see the average price in which all the costumers can be part of the service. Most of the customers will be based on their feeding habits and on the geographical location now that our selling service will be around the 170 to the 85 from seventh avenue to the highway.

Looking at our survey our main customers will be divided into:

  • Professional workers

  • Post College students

  • Family people

  • Artists

  • Abroad customers

  • Home workers

This helps us determine the behaviour and the lifestyle a distinct group may have, it is important to know that in a city like Bogota the geographic location may affect the type of lifestyle our potential customers may have.

it is important to take in account that:

  • In our zone time lapse of a door to door service is really strict

  • Quality of food is always expected to be good with a proper presentation

  • young consumers tend to eat fast food because it flavour and its economic price

  • Door to door service tend to be used on weekends to the family home and not to the office

  • Healthy food place have started to grow giving a distinct culture to the young customers

  • People tend to cook a lot a t home saving money that could be invested in restaurants

  • Food is always well checked before eaten

  • breakfast, lunch and dinner hours tend to be very strict for the majority

  • Younger people are the ones that other more, older people may be the opposite

  • First it was intended to know the ages of the people that were going to be surveyed, majority of surveyed people turned out to be between 19 to 25 years which majority can be seen as students. 43.6% of the surveyed turned out to be between 19-25

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • 36.6% of the people surveyed answer they where on social level 6, showing that the majority of our customers will have the necessary economic level to buy our product also showing an abstract look 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • It was important to take in account the general competition we had when we talk about delivery service, it was seen by far that most of the people that answered the survey answered that fast food was their preference when the ask for a delivery service. with a 72,7% of people saying that they ask for fast food it can be clearly seen that the market of delivery service is situated in the product of fast food

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • The service of Eco-Food is going to be working around 7:00 to 4:00 this because of the low number of employees and also the low number of budget. In the survey it can be seen that the 2 most busy hours tend to be around 12:00 and 4:00. This will make Eco-Food be conscious on the logistics they will have to make for being capable to achieve all the services that the customers ask, especially at 4:00 now that 31.6% of the people prefered this hour for using the service

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • One good thing gotten out of the customers was the trend they have of ordering food just on the weekends, so this show that Eco food needs to restructure its service days to achieve a higher level of selling on the weekends, at least on saturday now that 79.4% of the people order food on the weekends

  • 89.2% of the people su support the healthy food trending so this gives Eco-food a green light to begin its service

  • Positive thing about competition is that healthy food is growing big but slowly, the most known competition was cono sur with a 60% but consur is not that direct for a competition and this gives an advantage to eco-food now that the most known direct competition could be freshii with a 32.6%

  • Time lapse for door to door service tend to be an agreed statement and it can be seen that people go around 30 minutes to 45 minutes

  • One of the main essence of Eco-food will be the bicycle service which does have a big welcome now that 84,2% approve this type of service also increasing the time lapse of the service giving it an average of about 1 hour according to the 31% of the surveyed people

  • Prices can also be seen that majority will pay between 15000-20000 according to the 38,6% and this can give a chance to the company to have a better a quality and grow quickl
